CHELSEA NIGHTS

Chelsea Nights brings an exciting new element to the already booming Meatpacking District of New York City. Held on the first Friday of every month, Chelsea Market’s main concourse is the home of an ongoing highly curated concert series, featuring a variety of music and entertainment from some of the most captivating & intriguing artists NYC has to offer, including International and high calibre artists.

Paper Garden also works with the market vendors to bring additional experiential ideas & activations to the series. Whether it’s through our ‘featured vendor of the month’ partnership program, our ‘dinner & drinks with the band’ video series, or on -stage sample giveaways from various vendors, Paper Garden strives to create a truly interactive, unique, and exciting experience for all involved.

Paper Garden’s “Chelsea Nights” concert series was mentioned by Harvard University Professor of Architecture and Urban Design, Peter G. Rowe. The latest issue of Centre for Live-able Cities biannual magazine explores the value of public space, the many forms it takes, and the way it transforms cities. When deployed with intelligence, care and courage, public spaces can make cities more live-able, sustainable, prosperous and inclusive.

Features include an interview with world renowned urban designer Jan Gehl, a case study on libraries as new champions for civic spaces, and an insightful research piece on place management and intervention of Singapore’s Little India. The publication was launched at The World Cities Summit Mayors Forum happening in Suzhou, China, May 18.
