Attention DJ's - Darla Farmer announces remix comp
Our very own Darla Farmer, Nashville's favorite carnival-rock band, has just announced that they're launching a full album remix competition around their debut album, "Rewiring The Electric Forest"!
The band recorded their album in Omaha, NE this summer around Saddle-Creekers such as Cursive, The Faint, Maria Taylor and more, so for those of you that want to have your remix abilities heard, now is the time! The remix album, which will be titled, "Remixing The Electric Forest" will be digitally released this summer!
Paper Garden is now opening the floor for submissions and would love to hear what you can do with the album! We're looking for the most diverse and creative remix compilation album, so if you manage to make one of the songs sound like something from Celine Dion, not only will you be disqualified, but also most likely personally insulted (sorry Canada!). The good news, though, is if you manage to create the kick-ass remix that we're looking for, your remix will not only mark your certain road to endless success, but will also be marketed everywhere with your name attached!
