Paper Garden Records:
PGR spreads its seed in Montreal, Oct 1 & 2!
With Emanuel and the Fear and Darla Farmer drawing everyone from David Byrne and TV on the Radio to Apples In Stereo and Miles Anthony Benjamin Robinson to their incredibly elaborate live shows, Paper Garden Records is now giving you the opportunity to see the bands live in Montreal on October 1st and October 2nd around the Pop Montreal festival!
Paper Garden Records will be throwing two music and art parties during the Pop Montreal festival. First will be a carnaval-style showcase on Thursday, October 1st at Bar le Syndrome featuring Emanuel and the Fear and Darla Farmer alongside local Montreal DJ groups Wizestar and BUS, not to mention a special art exhibit, free Vitamin Water, costumes, $1.50 beers and $2 shooters – and all for the measly price of $10 ($8 presale)! Doors open at 8:30pm. Pre-order your tickets here: http://papergardenrecords.com/shop/item/48
On October 2nd, Paper Garden will be shifting ambiance entirely. Setting up a DIY picnic with free music, food, arts, and crafts, Paper Garden will have Emanuel and the Fear and Darla Farmer performing unplugged in the park (Square St. Louis), from 2-4pm…or whenever you’re sick of Montreal’s Fall weather! Free download samplers will be given out as well, so get there early while supplies last!
On top of all that, Paper Garden will be shooting for Lomography as the newest member of their elite Lomo Amigos group, alongside Elijah Wood, Beirut, David Arquette, Bruce Lee and more!
Paper Garden Records now has Canadian distribution through Sonic Unyon/Fontana North as well, so be on the lookout for Darla Farmer and Emanuel and the Fear in stores soon as well!
